A Local family with AN EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER
Lansing’s own Myrtle Beach, SC location recently had the opportunity to participate in the popular reality television show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, donating Alcoa shutters, Azek trim, and the time of our local branch manager to help make a local family’s dream come true. One of our valued Myrtle Beach customers, H&M Vinyl, donated their time to install the siding on the home.
Renee Wilson and her four grandchildren were the newest family selected for an extreme home makeover, which aired on Sunday, March 25. Hakeem, Tim, RJ, and Erica Wilson, of Longs, SC, who had been living in their Grandmother’s beat up trailer, were told that Ty Pennington and the gang would build them a new home of their own in a remarkable seven days. When asked what the children would like in their dream home, they all responded with the same answer, “my own dresser”, since all four children had been forced to share a single closet and dresser. These children got their dresser and much more thanks to the help of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and many area contractors who came together to donate not only quality products, but their time as well. Lansing Myrtle Beach is proud to have had a small part in helping make this family’s dream come true.
